On July 10~11, the "2023 ? China Display Industry Supply Chain Technology and Market Docking Exchange Conference" hosted by the LCD Branch of China Optics and Optoelectronics Industry Association and the China Electronic Materials Industry Association was held in Dalian, and Chipone won the "2022 China New Display Industry Chain Contribution Award".




The "China Display Industry Supply Chain Technology and Market Docking Exchange Conference" has been successfully held for eight sessions, attracting the participation and attention of many parties, including the leaders of relevant departments, domestic new display industry manufacturing enterprises, technical experts, and research institutions. At present, China has entered the stage of high-quality development of the new display industry, and accelerating the improvement of a safe and stable supply chain ecology is an important task for the current industrial development. The conference was held to further promote the localization of professional equipment and materials in the display industry chain, accelerate the formation of a development model of close collaboration, resource sharing and efficient collaboration between upstream and downstream, and achieve high-quality innovative development of the entire industry chain.



Liquid crystal display technology is developing in the direction of higher end, more advanced and more extreme visual experience, flexible OLED, Mini/Micro LED, QLED, laser display and other new technologies are accelerating, and the display and 5G, big data, artificial intelligence, AR/VR, naked-eye 3D and other new generation information technology continue to develop and integrate, presenting a new development trend of ultra-high definition, ubiquitous, integrated, intelligent and green.

 

In order to promote the further development of the domestic new display industry chain and realize the upstream and downstream technology collaboration, joint development, resource sharing, information interaction and innovation breakthrough of the industry, the China Electronic Materials Industry Association and the LCD Branch of the China Optics and Optoelectronics Industry Association continued to carry out the application and release activities of the "2022 China New Display Industry Chain Contribution Award" on the basis of the first five activities.

 

The "ultra-high-resolution AMOLED display driver chip R&D and industrialization" project declared by Chipone stood out among many participating projects. The results of the project are the first domestic AMOLED display driver chips in mainland China to realize batch application, filling the gap in related fields, breaking the situation that the mainland AMOLED display driver chip market is monopolized by overseas manufacturers, effectively reducing the dependence of local display display manufacturers and intelligent terminal manufacturers on foreign products of the same category, and reducing the operational risk of shortage during their production peak period. Especially in the context of the prevalence of local protectionism and the intensification of international competition, the results of this project have ensured the independent and controllable key links of China's advanced display industry chain to a certain extent, and achieved the ability to compete with the international first-class level in the field of ultra-high-definition AMOLED display driver chips.

 

The project has achieved original innovative breakthroughs in a number of key technologies. The main innovations include: a boundary recognition algorithm and a low pixel density compensation method for pixel density reduction are proposed; Developed folding screen cascade display control technology; A method of sensing the electrical or optical characteristics of pixels through the driving circuit and optical compensation is proposed, and the IRC (ir-dropcompensation) and demura brightness compensation technologies are overcome, and the problems of uneven brightness of AMOLED displays, such as poor brightness uniformity at low gray scale, bright spots, dark spots, and color spots caused by partial brightness, are solved.

 



The achievement of these innovative achievements benefits from the forward-looking layout of Chipone in the OLED field.
