On July 8, members of the G19 from Legislative Council of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region visited Chipone Zhuhai and exchanged views on the development of integrated circuits and the cooperation opportunities of the Guangdong-Macao Intensive Cooperation Zone in Zhuhai and Hengqin.  

Members of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong, Chairman of the Panel on Development of the Legislative Council, Tse Wai-chuen, led a delegation to visit, accompanied by members of the Legislative Council such as Kan Wai-man, Liu Cheung Kong, Yau Tat-kan and senior figures from all walks of life in Hong Kong. Zhang Jinfang, chairman and CEO of Chipone, Cai Ying, vice president, and Zhou Wenbin, general manager of ADT/PMIC business unit, received the visitors.

Zhang Jinfang accompanied the delegation members to visit the Zhuhai exhibition hall of Chipone, introduced the development history and existing product layout of Chipone in detail, and invited the members to experience the AR/VR application terminal products containing Chipone silicon-based OLED chips.

Zhang Jinfang said that the development of the domestic semiconductor industry is unstoppable. As an important member of the display chip field, Chipone will continue to move forward. Zhang Jinfang also hopes that through this communication, the two sides can explore more opportunities for development layout in Hong Kong.

The members of the delegation praised Chipone‘s display chip technology and related product applications, and expressed their hope to take this opportunity to deeply learn and understand domestic semiconductor-related technical solutions, make full use of the industrial and location advantages between Hong Kong and Zhuhai, and promote the coordinated development of the two places.

The "Legislative Council G19" is a cooperation platform for members composed of a number of non-party members of the Legislative Council of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. In addition to Chipone, the G19 delegation will also visit science and technology enterprises and research institutes in Zhuhai and Hengqin Guangdong-Macao Intensive Co-operation Zone to explore related industries, seek more opportunities for co-operation .
