On April 3, the 2023 International Display
Technology Conference (ICDT 2023) ended in Nanjing. The unprecedented scale of
this grand event brought together well-known entrepreneurs and academics in the
global display field to carry out in-depth exchanges on information display
technology and industrial development.
Chipone brought a number of new display
products to the conference, among which 4 products such as a "high-resolution
LED display chip control solution" won the gold, silver, and bronze awards
of CDIA's "Best Innovative Display Module of the Year" award.
What
is SID?
Society for Information Display (SID) is a
global professional academic organization composed of top scientists, engineers,
enterprise research and development and senior managers in the display
industry, and is the most leading, authoritative, and only professional
academic and technical organization in the display industry.
International Conference on Display
Technology (ICDT) is the only independent brand international display
technology conference held by SID outside the United States, which has been
successfully held for six sessions, attracting more than 40 domestic and foreign

Li Zhuo, CTO of Chipone, was invited to
attend the Future Technology Strategy Summit of the Display Industry and
delivered a keynote speech.
Li Zhuo first predicted the DDIC market
demand and development trend, he believes that DDIC market demand is expected
to recover slowly in 2023, Foundry capacity supply will also be eased, and
prices are currently stable.
Li Zhuo said that Chipone has achieved mass
production results in the field of OLED display chips. And has laid out the
field of automotive display chips in advance, and will concentrate on the
second half of this year.

display industry, ICDT also provides a centralized display platform for

Gold Award: High-resolution LED display
chip control scheme
The scheme realizes video processing and
driving constant current through the combination of two chips, simplifying the
difficulty of LED control design and effectively reducing client costs. Support
60Hz full 4K resolution display, each color output is 10 bits, support up/down
scaling, with dynamic color gamut positioning function, bringing a better
product experience.
Silver Award: OLED Smart Wearable Touch IC
(ICNT8918)
The OLED smart wearable touch IC
independently developed by Chipone adopts wafer-level (WLCSP) packaging and is
smaller. During the highly integrated peripheral period, the cost is lower, and
the 8TX*8RX design is adopted, the channel adaptation is more flexible, and the
standby power consumption is only 40uW, and the power consumption is lower. It
is also significantly waterproof. It provides more choices for the localization
of terminal product chips.
Silver Award: "Display Enhancement
Module Based on AI-PQ HD Quality Processing SOC Chip"
Vincent AI-PQ multimedia processing chip
uses deep learning methods to perform real-time frame-by-frame pixel-level fine
calculation of ultra-high-definition video images. The chip integrates a neural
network engine and DSP core adapted to ultra-high-definition video processing,
providing 25TOPS ultra-large computing power, and has rich interfaces such as
HDMI, DP, MIPI, VByOne, PCIe, USB3.1, Ethernet, etc., which can be widely used
in TV, commercial display, medical, machine vision, edge computing and other
fields.
Bronze Award: Local Dimming backlight
driver ICND8603
LED backlight chips for high dynamic range
(HDR) LCD TVs, monitors, and notebook computers. This product is the first LED
backlight driver chip in China that adopts row-column integration and provides
2-channel scanning and 48-channel output. It supports 14-bit PWM dimming, 5-bit,
and 8-bit global gain control, provides 6-bit independent channel gain control
and 7-bit analog DC dimming, and adopts a unique low-gray level dimming
algorithm to solve the industry pain point of very low grayscale screen flash.
In the future, Chipone will continue to
