Chipone's LED Products Empower the Presentation of Biodiversity via Naked-eye 3D Technologies

(October 11, 2021, Kunming, China) -- Today, the first session of the 15th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity (COP15) was held in Kunming, Yunnan Province. With a total area of 2,184m2, the screen on the exterior wall of Gingko Center is the first 3D screen in Yunnan and ranks third in China. The arc rounded corner-shaped screen adopts the surface smoothing technique in corners that levels up its resolution to 8K, bringing audiences seamlessly-connected and lifelike naked-eye 3D experience. During shooting, distant view, close shot and background are all clearly visible, presenting a complete “WYSIWYG” full-real-time film and television production process. The COP15 naked-eye 3D promotional video played on the screen vividly present characteristic animals and plants in Yunnan, China, such as green peafowl, Asian elephant and snub-nosed monkey, bringing stunning visual impact and novel media visual experience. In addition to strong immersive visual experience to audience, the lifelike naked-eye 3D effect also arouses our sense of responsibility and mission to protect the nature and biodiversity.

As the key for this screen, Chipone’s ICND2053 chip is a 16-digit PWM constant current driver chip tailored for fine-pitch LED screen with 16KB data storage SRAM. Featuring high fresh rate and high gray scale of conventional PWM chips, it can also achieve 0.5mA constant current output and maintains excellent low gray level when the brightness is lower than 300cd. ICND2053 can solve six basic problems of small-pitch display, and can also effectively mitigate such difficult problems as high contrast coupling and cross-board color difference that conventional PWM chips can’t cope with. It is a special PWM driver chip with better performance at present. ICND2053 also features the following: Absolute performance parameters; naked-eye low gray level; real representation during shooting.
